Something you might not know about me, is that I'm a savory over sweet kind of girl. If your offering me a cinnamon bun or a crispy piece of friend schnitzel, 9 times out of 10, I'm down for the schnitzel! So for those days that I want a comforting savory snack, or those nights when it's just dinner for me, I'll be making these quick chili oil noodles with a fried egg. They are lightly spicy and bursting with umami flavor. Totally crave worthy. The best part is, they take only 10 minutes to make!

How to make quick chili oil noodles with a fried egg

Cook the noodles according to package directions. While the noodles are cooking, heat a skillet over medium-low, allowing it to fully pre-heat (3-5 minutes). Add the olive oil (or fat of choice) and swirl to coat the surface of the skillet. Crack the egg into the frying pan and cook until the whites are set and the yolk is still liquid (sunny side up). Remove the egg from the pan and place onto a plate.

To the same skillet, add the chili crisp, soy sauce, honey, rice vinegar, and sesame oil. Cook for 1 minute. Add in the sesame seeds and mix well. Add in the strained cooked noodles and toss them in the sauce until they are evenly coated. Transfer the noodles to a bowl and top with the fried egg and sliced scallions. Enjoy!

I get mine on Amazon! I've also seen it in some grocery stores that have a wide selection of products.

    Can you make it?
