Superbowl Sunday is this weekend, and if your looking for a crowd pleaser, you have to try these big mac nachos! I'll admit, I'm really more in it for the good food and commercial breaks. There's just something so good about party food. I love how quickly these nachos come together, you can even prep the meat and onions ahead of time and just assemble before everyone arrives.

What you need to make big mac nachos:
- Tortilla chips- as the base for any good nachos, pick your favorite brand!
- Olive oil
- Ground beef
- Salt and garlic powder
- Onion
- Dairy free cheese- If desired for the true "big mac" experience
- Shredded iceberg lettuce
- Pickle chips
- Special sauce (recipe below)
- Sesame seeds
Directions:
- Preheat oven to 400F.
- Start by heating up half of the olive oil in a skillet. Add the ground beef and break up the clumps of meat. Add the garlic powder and salt to the beef and cook until browned.
- Remove the ground beef from the skillet with a slotted spoon and transfer to a bowl.
- Add remaining olive oil if needed and cook the diced onions on medium low for up to 30 minutes or until caramelized to your liking.
- While the onions are cooking, line a quarter size baking sheet with parchment paper. Layer the chips onto the baking sheet.
- Top with ground beef and dairy free cheese. Bake for 10-15 minutes until the cheese is melted.
- While it's baking, prepare the special sauce.
- Remove the chips from the oven and top with lettuce, pickle chips, sauteed onions, special sauce, and sesame seeds.
- Serve immediately.
Prep big mac nachos in advance:
You can brown the beef, sauté the onions and whisk together the special sauce all in advance.
