    Green juice in a blender

Published: Jan 30, 2019 · Modified: Jul 14, 2025 by tomatoestomahtos · This post may contain affiliate links ·

I have a weird thing with green juice. I really really like it! When it's done right, it's so crisp and refreshing. I have yet to buy myself a juicer because I make my green juice in a blender! Turns out, it's actually amazing to make it in a blender because this way, the fruits and veggies retain their fiber, making it even more nutritious! Stop shelling out $12 plus for a cup of juice and grab your blender.

ingredients needed to make green juice in a blender

What ingredients do you need to make green juice in a blender?

    • Celery - It's a super hydrating vegetable high in nutrients and fiber.
    • Parsley-Rich in antioxidants and vitamins A, K, and C and can help the body flush out toxins.
    • Persian cucumbers- high in water content and can help hydrate and sooth the skin.
    • Granny smith apples- They add a touch of tart and sweetness as well as being high in fiber and vitamin c.
    • Lemons- help boost the immune system, improve skin health and aid in digestion.
    • Coconut water- naturally high in electrolytes making it a great source of hydration. You can substitute for filtered water if you don't have any coconut water on hand.

    Directions:

    1. Place all the ingredients in a powerful blender and blend until combined, 1-2 minutes.
    2. Strain the juice into a glass measuring cup or a bowl with a cheesecloth fitted over a fine mesh strainer. Bring up the sides of the cheesecloth to squeeze out any remaining juice.
    3. Pour the juice into a glass jar with a tight fitting lid or individual shot size bottles.
    4. Store in the fridge for 5-7 days.

    Tips & tricks:

    1. It's really important to strain the juice: This ensures the juice is smooth and easy to drink.
    2. Size of the fruit and vegetables: If you have a powerful blender, it will have no problem blending large chunks of produce. If your blender is not powerful, cut the produce into smaller chunks.
    3. Fresher is better: Since this is consumed raw, make sure the produce is high quality and fresh to maximize the flavor outcome.
