    salted caramel cream cold brew

Published: Jun 8, 2025 · Modified: Sep 8, 2025 by tomatoestomahtos · This post may contain affiliate links ·

In another edition of delicious drinks I buy at Starbucks, the salted caramel cream cold brew has been that special drink I get when I'm looking for something luxurious. I haven't really gotten into making my favorite treat drinks at home because I don't want to go and buy a bunch of syrups. That was a huge point with my brown sugar shaken espresso that so many of you loved, no special ingredients! However, when I discovered all I would need was a little caramel and vanilla syrup to make my dreams come true, I promptly ordered what I needed from Amazon.

What ingredients you will need to make salted caramel cream cold brew:

    • Cold brew- I prefer to make my own by adding coarsely freshly ground beans to my cold brew pitcher, but your favorite store bought brand works in a pinch!
    • Heavy cream -see? this drink is luxurious! The heavy cream helps create a more stable, longer lasting foam.
    • Milk- I use whole milk always, but you can use a different percentage.
    • Caramel sauce- I saw that there was a salted caramel sauce option so I went with that. If you have a regular caramel sauce, just add a pinch of salt before you make the cold cream.
    • Vanilla syrup- this one is really optional but for the most authentic flavor you will need it. You can also sweeten the coffee with any other sweetener you would like.
    • Ice - keeps the coffee nice and chilled while helping the cold foam sit nicely on top.

    Special equipment:

You will need a handheld milk frother for this recipe. If you don't have one, you can also make do without and a little elbow grease! Combine the cold cream ingredients in a jar with a tight fitting lid and shake until foamy, 1-2 minutes.

    How to make it:

    1. Start by combining the heavy cream, milk and 1 tablespoon of the caramel sauce in a glass. Froth until light and foamy.
    2. Fill a glass with ice and pour in the cold brew coffee. Add vanilla syrup.
    3. Top the coffee with caramel cold cream. Drizzle on some extra caramel sauce and enjoy.
