This recipe is specifically made with thinly sliced flanken, also known as Miami ribs. This allows for a super quick cook time resulting in these addictive boldly sliced thin pieces of beef. Ingredients:
- Soy sauce
- Rice vinegar
- Toasted sesame oil
- Brown sugar
- Minced garlic
- Sesame seeds
- Scallions
How to make the best grilled beef ribs
It can't get easier then this! Simply combine the soy sauce, rice vinegar, toasted sesame oil, brown sugar and garlic in a large Ziplock bag. Add in the beef ribs. Marinate for 30 minutes. Grill for approximately 4 minutes per side. Garnish with sesame seeds and sliced scallions. Serve!
Storing and Reheating:
To be perfectly honest, there's never any leftovers! In the case you do have leftovers, simply store in the fridge for up to 3 days. Rewarm in the oven until warmed through.

What cut of meat should I use?
Use thinly sliced flanken, also known as Miami ribs or Kalbi. You can simply ask your butcher to prepare this cut for you.
Can I use a grill pan?
You can. Do note though that the taste will be different because it just not char in the same way.

- 5 miami style cut beef ribs
- 2 tablespoon soy sauce
- 2 Tbsp brown sugar
- 2 teaspoon toasted sesame oil
- 2 teaspoon crushed garlic
- 1 teaspoon rice vinegar
- 2 scallions, thinly slices white and light green parts only
- sesame seeds for garnish
Instructions
