    Where are my pumpkin fans at? This is THE season for all things pumpkin. Although I think it's gotten out of hand lately tbh...or is it just me? ANYWAYS, I don't need to convince you to have a slice of this best ever pumpkin bread with streusel and a spiced glaze. It's a delicious way to celebrate this incredible season. Pair it with a cup of cinnamon tea or homemade apple cider for the ultimate treat.

    Here's what you need to make the best ever pumpkin bread with streusel and a spiced glaze:

    Pumpkin bread:

    • Eggs
    • Oil
    • Maple syrup
    • Pumpkin puree- 100% canned pureed pumpkin. NOT pumpkin pie filling.
    • Vanilla
    • All-purpose flour
    • Baking soda
    • Baking powder
    • Salt
    • Pumpkin pie spice

    Streusel:

    • Oil
    • All- purpose flour
    • Light brown sugar
    • Sugar
    • Pumpkin pie spice

    Glaze:

    • Powdered sugar
    • Milk
    • Pumpkin pie spice

    Directions:

    Preheat oven to 350F. In a large bowl, whisk together eggs, oil, and maple syrup. Add in pumpkin puree and vanilla. Set aside.
    In a smaller bowl, mix together flour, baking soda, baking powder, salt, and pumpkin pie spice. Add dry ingredients to wet ingredients and stir until combined.
    Pour into parchment lined loaf pan.

    In a small bowl, mix together streusel ingredients until crumble forms. Sprinkle evenly on top of bread batter. Bake for 45-50 minutes or until toothpick inserted in middle comes out clean.

    While the cake is baking, whisk together the glaze ingredients. Remove the cake from the oven and cool for 15 minutes. Remove from the loaf pan and drizzle with the glaze.

    Storing:

    Store best ever pumpkin bread with streusel and a spiced glaze on the counter top for 2-4 days in an airtight container.

    To freeze, wrap in aluminum foil or transfer to a freezer-safe airtight container. The loaf can be stored for 1-2 months.

    Substitutes:

    Oil: Can be any cooking oil like avocado, melted coconut, canola or vegetable.

    Maple syrup: Makes a fabulous all-natural sweetener. You can try honey or molasses instead!

    Milk: Use any milk of your choice. Dairy or non-dairy.

    Method
