ANYWAYS, I don't need to convince you to have a slice of this best ever pumpkin bread with streusel and a spiced glaze. It's a delicious way to celebrate this incredible season. Here's what you need to make the best ever pumpkin bread with streusel and a spiced glaze:
Pumpkin bread:
- Eggs
- Oil
- Maple syrup
- Pumpkin puree- 100% canned pureed pumpkin. NOT pumpkin pie filling.
- Vanilla
- All-purpose flour
- Baking soda
- Baking powder
- Salt
- Pumpkin pie spice
Streusel:
- Oil
- All- purpose flour
- Light brown sugar
- Sugar
- Pumpkin pie spice
Glaze:
- Powdered sugar
- Milk
- Pumpkin pie spice
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350F. In a large bowl, whisk together eggs, oil, and maple syrup. Add in pumpkin puree and vanilla. Set aside.
In a smaller bowl, mix together flour, baking soda, baking powder, salt, and pumpkin pie spice. Add dry ingredients to wet ingredients and stir until combined.
Pour into parchment lined loaf pan.
In a small bowl, mix together streusel ingredients until crumble forms. Sprinkle evenly on top of bread batter. Bake for 45-50 minutes or until toothpick inserted in middle comes out clean.
While the cake is baking, whisk together the glaze ingredients. Remove the cake from the oven and cool for 15 minutes. Remove from the loaf pan and drizzle with the glaze.
