We always have lots of bananas laying around. I make myself a smoothie almost every morning, and it's a great snack option for the kiddos. Although bananas aren't as moody as avocados, they don't have an exceptionally long shelf life so I either freeze them for smoothies or bake this chocolate chunk banana bread made healthier. It's a really special after school treat to have with a glass of milk or as a mid-day snack for mama with my favorite iced coffee!
