Preheat oven to 350F.
Start by browning the diced beef facon in a pan for 5-6 minutes. Add in the diced onion and cook an additional 5 minutes, until lightly golden.
Next, add the ground beef to the pan and use a fork to break up the clumps. Cook until all the beef is browned.
While the beef is browning, whisk together the molasses, BBQ sauce, dark brown sugar, ketchup, Worcestershire sauce, mustard and spices.
When the beef is browned, pour in the canned beans and sauce. Mix well.
Transfer to the oven and bake for 1 hour, covered.
Turn the temp to 375F and bake an additional 15 minutes, uncovered.
