5 minute fresh chunky salsa

What's a party without good chips and dip? This homemade 5 minute fresh chunky salsa will knock your socks off in the best kind of way.

Ingredients
  

  • 5 Roma/Plum tomatoes
  • ¼ red onion
  • 1 jalapeno without seeds and membranes
  • handful of fresh cilantro
  • 1 lime juiced
  • 1 clove garlic
  • 1 tablespoon kosher salt
  • 1 teaspoon ground cumin
  • 1 ½ c crushed tomatoes

Method
 

  1. Start by cutting the Roma tomatoes into ¼'s. Then cut the jalapeno into ¼.
  2. Add the tomatoes, jalapeno, red onion, cilantro, garlic and lime juice to a food processor. Pulse a couple of times until the desired consistency is reached.
  3. Fold in the spices and crushed tomatoes. For best results, chill for a minimum of 30 minutes before serving with chips!
