Immunity bomb cubes with raw honey, turmeric, and ginger

'Tis the season to be...sick. Even if your one of the lucky ones not battling a dripping nose, I'm sure you know someone who is! These immunity bomb cubes with raw honey, turmeric and ginger, are here to help boost your immune system and soothe your cold if you are sick.

Servings: 4 2" cubes

Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup water or coconut water
  • 1" piece fresh turmeric or 1 teaspoon dried
  • 1" piece fresh ginger
  • 2 tablespoon raw honey
  • 4 lemons juiced
  • ΒΌ teaspoon black pepper optional but recommended

Method
 

  1. For a frozen cube: Combine all the ingredients into a blender. Blend well. Strain over a measuring cup. Pour the strained liquid into an ice cube tray and freeze overnight.
  2. For a shot: Strain the juice after blending it and divide it into 2 oz shot glasses. Refrigerate for up to 5 days.
