Ingredients

Sauce

  • 2 tablespoon low sodium soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoon hoisin sauce
  • ½ teaspoon ground ginger
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil
  • 1 tablespoon water
  • ¼ teaspoon sriracha

Stir Fry

  • 4 medium minute steaks
  • 3 tablespoon olive oil divided
  • 1 cup broccoli florets
  • 1 carrot thinly sliced into strips
  • 1 package lo mein noodles
  • 1 teaspoon sesame seeds for garnish

Instructions

  • Whisk the sauce ingredients together and set aside. Thinly slice the beef, discarding any very fatty parts and the sinew line that runs down the middle.
  • Remove 2 tablespoon of the sauce and toss it with the beef in a large bowl. Place a pot of water on the stove to boil.
  • Heat up 2 tablespoon of oil in a large saute pan. Cook the beef in batches until browned on both sides. Careful not to overcrowd the pan so that the beef stays tender. Remove the browned beef from the pan and set aside.
  • Heat the remaining 1 tablespoon oil up in the pan and cook the vegetables for 5-7 minutes. Cook the noodles in the boiling water according to package directions. Strain and set aside.
  • When the vegetables are cooked, add the cooked beef and sauce into the pan. Toss well to coat. Add the noodles in.
  • Sprinkle with sesame seeds if desired and serve immediately.
