  • 2 Tbsp low sodium soy sauce
  • 2 Tbsp hoisin sauce
  • 1/2 tsp ground ginger
  • 1 tsp sesame oil
  • 1 Tbsp water
  • 1/4 tsp sriracha

Stir Fry

  • 4 medium minute steaks
  • 3 Tbsp olive oil divided
  • 1 cup broccoli florets
  • 1 carrot thinly sliced into strips
  • 1 package lo mein noodles
  • 1 tsp sesame seeds for garnish

  • Whisk the sauce ingredients together and set aside. Thinly slice the beef, discarding any very fatty parts and the sinew line that runs down the middle.
  • Remove 2 Tbsp of the sauce and toss it with the beef in a large bowl. Place a pot of water on the stove to boil.
  • Heat up 2 Tbsp of oil in a large saute pan. Cook the beef in batches until browned on both sides. Careful not to overcrowd the pan so that the beef stays tender. Remove the browned beef from the pan and set aside.
  • Heat the remaining 1 Tbsp oil up in the pan and cook the vegetables for 5-7 minutes. Cook the noodles in the boiling water according to package directions. Strain and set aside.
  • When the vegetables are cooked, add the cooked beef and sauce into the pan. Toss well to coat. Add the noodles in.
  • Sprinkle with sesame seeds if desired and serve immediately.
