Double Chocolate Loaf Cake

Ingredients
  

  • ½ cup cocoa powder dutch processed
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • ½ teaspoon baking soda
  • 2 teaspoon baking powder
  • ¼ tsp salt
  • ½ cup brown sugar
  • ¼ cup sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • ½ cup vegetable oil or melted butter
  • ¾ cup unsweetened non dairy milk or whole milk
  • 1 cup chocolate chips

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 350 F. Combine the dry ingredients including cocoa powder, flour, baking soda,baking powder, salt and sugars in a large bowl. In a separate bowl, whisk together the eggs, vanilla, oil and milk. Pour the wet mixture into the bowl with the dry ingredients and mix well with a spatula. Mix in ¾ c of the chocolate chips.
  • Line a loaf pan with parchment paper. Pour the batter into the pan. Top it with the remaining chocolate chips. Bake for 50-60 minutes.
  • Cool for 10 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
